Major CHAOS!

Namaste? Never mind, Helllo.

I know I know, the huge gap all over again (not so huge this time though) but I can’t really help it if CBSE decides to burden us with a whole lots of projects, worksheets at once and EVERYTHING COUNTS, Trust me on that one and the regular tests just came in the way. None the less, I am back with one more topic to blog on. I bet all of us have been a part of some competition and stating the obvious every competition has a winner. Isn’t that the whole point about competitions in the first place? Giving your best so that you could be declared the winner. So such competitions are being held at my school too. P.S I AM ONLY TALKING ABOUT THE GIRLS IN THIS PARTICULAR BLOG; I HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT THE GUYS.

Now something I’ve noticed in the past years that I’ve spent in school is that, in each batch of students, THERE IS ALWAYS THIS ONE GROUP THAT ENDS UP CREATING A WHOLE POINTLESS COMMOTION ABOUT THE WINNERS, AND TO TOP IT ALL OF, EVERYONE ELSE JOINS IN. Like seriously? I don’t get it, so what if you’ve lost? First, it is just a competition; no one is interested in seeing you go all world war three about it, in school. Second, if not this year try harder next year. And Third, Yes you gave your best; maybe they gave everything to win that. Yes, you were good too, maybe they were better or maybe the best of the lot.

And then there are those who cry about losing. Please realize failure is a part of life, like I said if not this year, next year. Moreover we’ve been learning from a very young age, we become a stronger person when we lose, because then arises in us the assurance to give our best for the more to come. Like Oprah Winfrey once put it, “Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness.” There you have it.

There are also some who go around blaming the judges for their loss. The whole concept behind someone being a judge is to NOT be partial and of course, they decide who wins BUT YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY GO AROUND TELLING YOUR FRIENDS THAT “ITS BECAUSE SHE DISLIKES US”. These are just the effects of not winning; it’s called “CANNOT BE A SPORT”.

And the winners, I hate it when they come up to the people who unfortunately could not win and go like “You were so good, omgomgomgomg like so good, like this like that, so awesomememe. How did you not win?” Dear you, you know what you’re doing? Pressing the trigger button, yes he/she is going to explode. First of all their whining about it, and you go tell them such INSPIRATIONAL WORDS. I can bet 2 out 5 people already have shot you. STOP SYMPATHISING.

I hope you enjoyed, thanks for reading.
