Experience with time.

Don't you sometimes think and stumble upon the fact that maybe, just maybe all of us grew up way too fast. I mean it’s just weird how as kids all we ever wanted to do was grow up, become like the adults around us, become like the teenagers we saw and NOW, suddenly all of us want to stop growing up. All of us want to go back to our childhood and obviously get out of this schedule filled busy days, the never ending days where you want to get a minute of fresh air but you can't because you're always caught up with some or the other work, those days when you just want all of this stress and mental pressure to come to an end. Time passes by way to quickly to enjoy every moment of it. Everything around us is dull, so grey. Slowly, the everyday stress starts to blend in and we get used to it, forgetting whether life was always like this or not.

I remember how a few years back everything was so different, no one cared about anything happening around them, they were so oblivious to the fact. None of us cared about the way we spoke or the way we dressed up, it was all about having fun but as years passed by, that's when I really witnessed the truth. These people, who once did not care about anyone or anything, now are so self conscious about the way they looked in front of a certain group of people or in front of people as a whole, about the way they spoke, each word was spoken much more carefully in order to not make them look like fools, of course. So self centered and so full of themselves. Before, it was all about having the right friends, always sticking by each other’s side and not letting each other go. Now, it's just about enhancing your image in public and wanting everyone to talk about you, the war of being the most popular, as I would like to call it.

To the people indulged in the war of being the most popular, it's good to know a lot people but sometimes it's best to keep your friends, true friends close. Remember, it's better knowing little people and having good friends than knowing so many people and having not even one friend who'd stand by you in times of need.

Sometimes it's good that time flies by, at least that makes you turn down your blind fold, knocking you with the truth, telling you that sometimes the people you thought would always stay by your side weren't really the ones who did, they weren't worth your time and now definitely not worth your tears either. Also, in some cases the people who you least cared about were the ones who always cared about you, no matter how much of a horrible person you were to them. It's all about priorities I believe, first priorities are given to people who don't care for us and third priorities to people who do, so ironical.
